Rita Santinho Martins

Rita is mediator and partner at Medtogether. She is a private mediator registered at the official list of the Ministry of Justice, and is involved in promoting conflict mediation in Portugal and in the Portuguesespeaking countries as part of ICFML-Instituto de Certificação e Mediação dos Mediadores Lusófanos (ICFML) board of administration.
She has been a lawyer since 2001, pursuing the areas of private law (contracts, litigation) and public law (environment, health, public procurement, regulatory),
administrative litigation, mediation and arbitration. Rita graduated from University of Lisbon School of Law, and holds both the course of Public Procurement Law and a post graduation in Sea Administrative Law from the same university. She attended a Public Law Master’ from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, where she achieved two graduate degrees of this institution: one in Administrative Litigation and another in Public Legal Sciences. Rita has the Introductory
certificate for the International Arbitration course of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and completed the Conflict Mediation course with dual private and
public certification, given by ICFML in partnership with the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto.
