Sarah Wheeler

Sarah Wheeler is a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group.
She joined the firm in 2009. Ms. Wheeler’s practice focuses on international arbitration.


Ms. Wheeler’s international arbitration practice includes representation in DIS, ICC, ICSID, LCIA, NAI, SCC and UNCITRAL arbitrations sited in both common and civil law jurisdictions (Amsterdam, London, Stockholm, Washington, Vienna and Zurich). Ms. Wheeler’s private international law practice covers a wide range of industries, including the energy, oil and gas, financial, retail and telecommunications sectors. She has also been involved in financial and fraud investigations and has represented clients in a number of proceedings before the English High Court.
Ms. Wheeler joined WilmerHale from the Arbitration Group of Allen & Overy LLP in London. She has practiced as an English solicitor in London since 2004. Ms. Wheeler has gained her higher rights of audience and is a qualified Solicitor Advocate. She is also a member of the Young International Arbitrators Group of the LCIA and the Law Society of England and Wales.
